Demon: HP Spender
Danger 5Hardfor v1.1 + Paws & Claws · updated 2026-11-01
Demon pays for items with Max HP and turns leftover materials into Max HP at the end of each wave. Spend hard early while prices are low, then protect the bank.
Stat priority
Weapons
| Weapon | Copies | Role | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lightning Shiv | 4 | core | The easiest start: fast, cheap and good in crowds. |
| Ghost Scepter | 2 | tech | The late-game pick players rate highest on Demon. |
Items
| Item | Priority | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Piggy Bank | must | More materials at wave start means more Max HP at wave end. |
| Padding | should | Max HP from the materials you hold. |
| Alien Eyes | should | Damage that scales with Demon's large Max HP. |
| Spicy Sauce | should | Max HP plus explosions that scale with it. |
Avoid
- Torture — You spend HP to shop, so you need every other source of healing.
Run plan
Waves 1–3
Buy aggressively, even down to very low HP, before prices go up. Clearing a shop gives a free reroll.
Waves 4–10
Let Max HP recover. Stop rerolling, since spare materials become HP.
Waves 11–20
Hold materials and let Max HP grow. Buy only what changes the run.
Why it works
- Early items are cheap and HP comes back, so spending early is the strongest move.
- Late, unspent materials are pure survivability.
- Players disagree on the main weapon. Lightning Shiv is the safest choice.
