Loud: Chain Reaction
Danger 5Mediumfor v1.1 + Paws & Claws · updated 2026-11-01
Explosive guns into packed crowds. Loud brings +30% damage and +50% enemies. In a crowd that dense, every exploding Shredder bullet catches several enemies at once, and every kill drops materials.
Stat priority
Weapons
| Weapon | Copies | Role | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shredder | 4 | starter | Start with one and keep buying them. Four merged Shredders carry the run. |
| Rocket Launcher | 2 | tech | Big single explosions for boss waves. Buy the first one from a tier II shop roll. |
Items
| Item | Priority | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Dynamite | must | +15% explosion damage for 20 materials. Buy every copy you see early. |
| Plastic Explosive | must | +25% explosion size: each blast reaches more of the extra enemies. |
| Starfish | should | +20% materials from enemies on a character with 50% more enemies. Mind the +15% enemy damage. |
| Explosive Shells | should | +60% explosion damage outweighs the -15% damage once most of your damage is explosions. |
| Honey | nice | Ranged damage plus explosion damage and size in one slot. |
| Gentle Alien | nice | More enemies and more damage - the Loud plan in a common item. |
Avoid
- White Flag — -5% enemies works against the reason to play Loud.
- Tractor — Loud loses 3 harvesting every wave and the -8% damage stays. Spend the slot on damage.
Run plan
Early (waves 1–6)
Pick Shredder as the starting weapon. Ranged damage on level-ups, buy Shredders and Dynamite, merge duplicates. Kill materials pay for the shop. Ignore harvesting.
Mid (waves 7–14)
Find Plastic Explosive, then Starfish. Alternate Max HP and armor with ranged damage - the extra 50% enemies hit you too. Add the first Rocket Launcher before the elite and horde waves start.
Late (waves 15–20)
HP and armor on every level-up. Keep moving so the crowd stays in one clump behind you. That clump is where the explosions do their work.
Why it works
- Explosions hit everything in the blast, so +50% enemies turns into more targets per shot instead of more danger per second.
- More enemies also means more materials, which replaces the harvesting Loud gives up every wave.
- The +30% damage applies to every explosion, and the explosion items stack on top of it.
