What you need
Primal Dread costs $3.99 / €3.99 / £3.39 and needs the base game. Launch: 2 November 2026 at 18:00 UTC on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG. PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS and Android follow in early 2027.
Each new character has one new achievement, for winning a run with them on any map.
Other Primal Dread characters
- Poacher: Marks a hunting zone. Kills inside it make the Poacher much stronger but drop less money.
- Veteran: A one-potato army with a heavy machine gun. Thrives on low health against hordes.
- Caveman: Built around Primitive weapons, which hit harder under a condition.
- Timeshifter: Time slows down whenever it takes damage.
