Crazy guide — how to play Crazy in Brotato

Updated 2026-11-01 · for v1.1 + Paws & Claws

Fast knives with huge range; crit is the whole plan. Our tier list puts Crazy in A tier: Crit damage on fast weapons. The only thing it needs from the shop is crit chance.

The stat line

  • +100 Range with Precise weapons
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • You start with 1 Knife
  • -30% Dodge
  • -10 Engineering
  • -10 Ranged Damage

Unlock: Unlocked by default. Winning a run unlocks Hunting Trophy.

How the run plays

+25% Attack Speed and +100 Range with Precise weapons make the starting Knife reach further than most guns. Precise weapons carry high base crit, so Crit Chance items turn the build into a shredder by wave 10. -30% Dodge and -10 Engineering remove two escape routes, which pushes survival onto Max HP and Armor.

Weapons

Crazy fits the Precise class best. Start with Knife, Thief Dagger, Scissors, Lightning Shiv, Claw, Sharp Tooth and hold six weapons of one class for the set bonus; the weapons list shows everything in the Precise class with per-tier damage.

What to buy, what to skip

Crit Chance, Melee Damage, then Max HP and Armor. Avoid anything with -Crit.

The shop favours Crit Chance, Melee Damage items for Crazy, so expect to see these often: Boxing Glove, Charcoal, Claw Tree, Defective Steroids, Insanity, Goat Skull, Hedgehog, Tentacle.

The mistake that ends runs

Mixing in non-Precise weapons; the range bonus and the set bonus both vanish.
