Druid guide — how to play Druid in Brotato
Updated 2026-11-01 · for v1.1 + Paws & Claws
Fruits drop more and some of them are luck; a slow, rich, slightly poisonous run. Our tier list puts Druid in B tier: Fruit and luck. Strong economy, needs a damage plan.
The stat line
- +5 Max HP
- +15 Luck
- Enemies have a higher chance of dropping fruits
- 33% chance to get +1 Luck when you pick up a fruit
- 33% of fruits are poisoned and hurt you (ignores Dodge and Armor)
- -100 HP Regeneration
- -100% Life Steal
- Engineering modifications are reduced by 50%
Druid comes with the Abyssal Terrors DLC. Unlock: Collect 250 consumables by the end of wave 20. Winning a run unlocks Cauldron.
How the run plays
Enemies drop fruit more often, a third of fruits grant +1 Luck and a third are poisoned. +15 Luck and +5 Max HP start the economy. The Druid pairs with Lucky in co-op since both scale off the same drops. Trees matter too, which makes tree items double-dip.
Weapons
Druid fits the Primitive or Elemental classes best. Start with Cacti Club, Rock, Quarterstaff, Stick, Spear, Torch and hold six weapons of one class for the set bonus; the weapons list shows everything in the Primitive class with per-tier damage.
What to buy, what to skip
Luck, Tree-tag items, Max HP. Consumable healing items are strong.
The shop favours Consumable, Luck items for Druid, so expect to see these often: Bag, Lemonade, Weird Food, Baby Elephant, Lost Duck, Propeller Hat, Cyberball, Treasure Map.
The mistake that ends runs
Eating every fruit at full health; poisoned ones are a net loss there.
Co-op partners
- Cryptid — Double trees: double the end-of-wave materials and regen auras.
- Farmer — Double trees: double the end-of-wave materials and regen auras.
- Lucky — Druid's fruit drops feed luck. Lucky's luck feeds drops. Both scale off the same shared pool.
