Healing is an attack; regen and life steal fire a shot every time they trigger. Our tier list puts Lich in B tier: Curse and regen trade. Safe but slow.

How the run plays

+10 HP Regen, +10% Life Steal and a Max-HP-scaled hit on every heal make the Lich a sustain-damage character: each tick of regen damages a random enemy. Damage modifications are halved, so stack Max HP (the hit scales with it) and regen rather than Damage %.

Weapons

Lich fits the Ethereal or Elemental classes best. Start with Ghost Flint, Lightning Shiv, Ghost Scepter, Wand, Icicle and hold six weapons of one class for the set bonus; the weapons list shows everything in the Ethereal class with per-tier damage.

What to buy, what to skip

Max HP, HP Regen, Life Steal, Curse items for the Abyssal kit.

The shop favours Max HP, HP Regeneration, Life Steal items for Lich, so expect to see these often: Weird Ghost, Alien Worm, Cake, Jelly, Plant, Bat, Defective Steroids, Broken Mouth.

The mistake that ends runs

Buying Damage %; it is halved and does not drive the heal hits.
