One Armed guide — how to play One Armed in Brotato

Updated 2026-11-01 · for v1.1 + Paws & Claws

One weapon only, at triple attack speed with doubled damage modifiers. Our tier list puts One Armed in C tier: One weapon, huge attack speed. Feast or famine.

The stat line

  • +200% Attack Speed
  • Damage modifications are increased by 100%
  • You can only equip one weapon at a time

Unlock: Win a run in Danger 0. Winning a run unlocks Focus.

How the run plays

+200% Attack Speed and +100% damage modifications on a single weapon slot: every stat you buy goes into one gun or blade. Weapon choice is everything; a Tier IV single weapon with piercing or bounce clears waves. Upgrade priority is simple since there is one thing to upgrade.

Weapons

One Armed fits the Gun or Precise classes best. Start with Claw, Thief Dagger, Lightning Shiv, Scissors, Double Barrel Shotgun, Shredder and hold six weapons of one class for the set bonus; the weapons list shows everything in the Gun class with per-tier damage.

What to buy, what to skip

Damage, Attack Speed, Piercing/Bounce items, Max HP.

The shop favours Damage items for One Armed, so expect to see these often: Corrupted Shard, Small Fish, Injection, Bait, Head Injury, Bone Dice, Gentle Alien, Cyclops Worm.

The mistake that ends runs

Picking a weapon that cannot handle crowds; one weapon has to do both jobs.
