| 20 Minutes Till Dawn | Short runs where you aim yourself | Fewer systems, more about your aim |
| Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor | Classes and mining in cave levels | You also dig through walls |
| Soulstone Survivors | Lots of abilities and big visual effects | More about casting skills |

Brotato vs Vampire Survivors
They look similar, but they don't play the same way.
- Run length. Brotato runs are 20 short waves of 20 to 90 seconds each. Vampire Survivors runs usually last about half an hour.
- Planning. Brotato gives you a shop between every wave, so you make many small spending choices. Vampire Survivors builds mostly come from level-ups and chests during play.
- Characters. Each of Brotato's characters changes the rules of a run, sometimes heavily. Bull can't equip weapons, and Wounded dies in one hit.
- Weapons. Brotato's six weapon slots and class set bonuses reward picking a plan early.
- Co-op. Brotato has local co-op for 2 to 4 players.
Pick Vampire Survivors if you want to watch a build snowball. Stay with Brotato if you like short waves and making a decision every minute.
