The stat line

• You start with 1 Minigun
• Ranged Damage modifications are increased by 200%
• 100% of your Ranged Damage are temporarily converted into Engineering halfway through a wave (1 Ranged Damage = 2 Engineering)
• Engineering modifications are reduced by 75%
• Melee modifications are reduced by 100%
• Elemental modifications are reduced by 100%

How the run plays

Ranged Damage modifications are increased by 200%, so each ranged point is worth three, and halfway through every wave that ranged damage is temporarily converted into Engineering. Run a Minigun and a couple of turrets and both halves of the wave are covered. It is one of the few characters where Engineering items and Ranged items both pay.

Weapons

Cyborg fits the Gun or Tool classes best. Start with Wrench, Screwdriver, Pistol, SMG, Revolver, Double Barrel Shotgun and hold six weapons of one class for the set bonus; the weapons list shows everything in the Gun class with per-tier damage.

What to buy, what to skip

Ranged Damage first, then structures, then Max HP.

The shop favours Structure, Ranged Damage items for Cyborg, so expect to see these often: Landmines, Turret, Feather, Lens, Mutation, Sharp Bullet, Hedgehog, Incendiary Turret.

The mistake that ends runs

Buying only turrets or only guns; the passive wants both sides.

Co-op partners

• Streamer — Every structure on the field feeds the structure-bonus passive.
• Old — A smaller arena keeps turrets in range of everything.
• Engineer — Two engineering players cover the map. Engineering items are rarely contested.
