Loud guide — how to play Loud in Brotato
Updated 2026-11-01 · for v1.1 + Paws & Claws
More enemies is more materials; the damage bonus does the rest. Our tier list puts Loud in S tier: More enemies means more materials and more targets. The economy outruns the extra danger from wave 5 on.
The stat line
- +30% Damage
- +50% Enemies
- -3 Harvesting at the end of a wave
Unlock: Kill 5000 enemies. Winning a run unlocks Rip and Tear.
How the run plays
+30% Damage and +50% Enemies make waves dense and lucrative; the -3 Harvesting per wave is the price. Denser waves mean more drops, more XP and more chances for on-kill items. Armor comes a wave earlier than you think; the volume of hits is the danger.
Weapons
Loud fits the Explosive or Heavy classes best. Start with Cacti Club, Plank, Shredder and hold six weapons of one class for the set bonus; the weapons list shows everything in the Explosive class with per-tier damage.
What to buy, what to skip
Armor early, Damage, on-kill items, Max HP. Explosions love the crowd.
The shop favours More Enemies items for Loud, so expect to see these often: Gentle Alien, Mouse, Black Flag.
The mistake that ends runs
Buying Harvesting to offset the loss; the economy is the enemy count, not Harvesting.
