Updated 2026-11-01 · for v1.1 + Paws & Claws
Fast punches with a Dodge bonus; Brawler's class and the cheapest full set to assemble. 5 weapons carry the Unarmed tag; the set bonus below applies for every Unarmed weapon you hold at once, duplicates included.
Set bonus
| Weapons held | Bonus |
|---|---|
| 2 | +3% Dodge Chance |
| 3 | +6% Dodge Chance |
| 4 | +9% Dodge Chance |
| 5 | +12% Dodge Chance |
| 6 | +15% Dodge Chance |
How a Unarmed build plays
Fists and Claws are everywhere in early shops and they attack every 0.78 seconds, so the class ramps on Attack Speed and flat Melee Damage. The set gives up to +15% Dodge with no downside, which fits a build that is always inside the crowd. Power Fist (Tier III, 40 damage, explosive) and Flaming Brass Knuckles (Elemental) are the late upgrades. Brawler gets +50% Attack Speed with the class and starts with Dodge, so six Unarmed is settled there by wave 6.
Every Unarmed weapon
Numbers are the lowest tier the weapon exists at; open a weapon for all four tiers and its scaling.
| Weapon | Tiers | Damage | Cooldown | DPS | Crit | Range | Also |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fist | 1–4 | 8 | 0.78s | 10.3 | 1% | 150 | – |
| Claw | 1–4 | 5 | 0.78s | 6.4 | 10% | 150 | Precise |
| Hand | 1–4 | 1 | 1.01s | 1 | 1% | 150 | Support |
| Flaming Brass Knuckles | 2–4 | 20 | 0.73s | 21.9 | 1% | 150 | Elemental |
| Power Fist | 3–4 | 40 | 0.69s | 58 | 1% | 150 | Explosive |
The core of a six-of set is usually Fist, Claw, Power Fist, Flaming Brass Knuckles; the rest fill in as the shop offers them.
Characters that fit the class
- Brawler — Punches twice as fast and dodges a lot; the easiest melee character to win with.
- Romantic — Charms low-health enemies and gets range on melee weapons.
- Sick — Loses 1 HP per second, steals it back on every hit.
- Speedy — Speed is melee damage, and standing still is deadly.
- Vampire — Missing health is damage, life steal and armour.
Overlapping classes
Unarmed weapons also count as Precise, Support, Elemental, Explosive, so a Unarmed rack can trigger a second set bonus without an extra slot. The weapons list filters by class.
The mistake that ends runs
Buying Range. Unarmed weapons reach 150 and are meant to; the Dodge is the defence, not distance.
See the set bonus ranking for how Unarmed compares with the other sixteen classes, or test a rack in the build planner.
